Shrimp Tacos, Crickets, Local Corn & Tomatoes
Wow. Sitting on my deck, the first week of September. It’s pleasantly cool, the crickets are still in full chorus and I’m enjoying shrimp tacos with a sauce made from the still sweet, delicious local corn and tomatoes. Yes friends, it ain’t over yet. There’s still plenty of mighty fine produce at our Farmers Market. Fresh corn, tomatoes, wild gulf shrimp and corn tortillas = perfection.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m getting back to my tacos.
